Billing Specialist
Remote, but successful candidate MUST live within a state in which Point Broadband Operates (AL, FL, GA, MI, OH, TN, TX, and VA) #LI-remote
Summary:
Primary duties are to provide support to all internal departments of Point Broadband regarding billing and order entry. The position is responsible for providing accurate and timely invoices to all Point Broadband subscribers. Other duties include ACH and credit card drafts, late fee/late notice processing, IVR call outs, monthly write-offs, internal financial reporting, deposit refunds, product management, and routine maintenance of the billing database.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
- Utilize company software to identify outstanding accounts
- Generate bills and invoices specific to customer accounts
- Deliver invoices to clients via digital and traditional mail services
- Process recurring payments
- Send delinquent accounts to the collections department
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports
- Creation of new products and services
- Routine maintenance of the billing database
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience/Skills Needed:
- Knowledge of Point Broadband’s products and services
- Strong communications and phone skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have excellent customer service skills
Computer Skills:
Requires working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
