Summary:
This position is responsible for provisioning and maintaining network services for customers. This role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to service connections and customer premise equipment (CPE).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Support field personnel in provisioning customer services, troubleshooting automation failures and connection issues.
- Assist in replacing and re-provisioning Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) remotely.
- Ensure proper service activation, disconnection, and reassignment in the system.
- Regularly participate in training and stay informed about new networking technologies.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Assist in network troubleshooting and service restoration efforts.
- Ensure that all provisioning tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that all provisioning activities are in compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and security requirements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes within the telecommunications industry that may affect service delivery and provisioning procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred. (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.) preferred.
- Must be able to perform in a high stress environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in telecommunications, network support, helpdesk and/or data experience preferred.
- Shift days and hours may be subject to change. Periods of overtime hours and night and weekend work may be required.

- Required to perform moderate walking throughout the Point Broadband’s facilities.
- Required to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to physically lift various equipment up to 25 or more pounds.
- Overtime may be required during times of high workload, outages, or staffing shortfalls.
