Summary:

This position is responsible for equipping sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively sell products and services in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving market. This role involves designing and delivering engaging training programs, developing sales playbooks and onboarding materials, and partnering with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and implement targeted learning solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Design, implement, and facilitate comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding, product knowledge, sales methodology, and soft skills development for new and existing D2D sales representatives.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions to ramp new hires quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct field shadowing, coaching, and live feedback to improve performance in real time.
  • Build and maintain training content including scripts, videos, playbooks, and digital resources.
  • Work closely with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure training content is current, accurate, and aligned with company objectives and product offerings.
  • Partner with Sales Managers and Supervisors to identify performance gaps and deliver targeted coaching solutions.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other digital tools to deliver scalable training solutions and track learner progress.
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., pitch-to-close ratio, appointments set, doors knocked) to assess training impact.
  • Support ongoing sales enablement initiatives, including product updates, CRM usage, and sales tools.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning and field-readiness across the organization.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on training initiatives, sales performance improvement, and program outcomes to key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in door-to-door sales, with a track record of success in the field.
  • 1–3 years in a sales training, enablement, or leadership role strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence front line sales reps across different skill levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed.
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms for creating, delivering, and tracing training programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with content creation tools for designing training materials, e-learning modules, and visual aids.
