Summary

This position provides support to all internal departments of Point Broadband regarding billing and order entry and is responsible for providing accurate and timely invoices to all Point Broadband subscribers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes company software to identify outstanding accounts.
  • Generates bills and invoices specific to customer accounts.
  • Delivers invoices to clients via digital and traditional mail services.
  • Processes ACH and credit card drafts for customers.
  • Processes late fees and late notices.
  • Processes recurring payments.
  • Responsible for the IVR call out process.
  • Sends delinquent accounts to the collections department.
  • Generates monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Creation of new products and services.
  • Completes routine maintenance of the billing database.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • Knowledge of Point Broadband’s products and services.
  • Strong communications and phone skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

Computer Skills

  • Requires working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous billing software/accounts receivable software preferred.

  • Must be able to work occasional overtime as required, including weekends.
