Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the translation of our brand strategy into powerful, consistent creative across markets and channels. This role will guide our creative agencies, oversee brand marketing campaigns, support internal brand education, and manage a small but growing team focused on organic social engagement and brand execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our creative agencies, alongside the Director.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly creative reviews, status meetings, and prioritization discussions.
  • Write and oversee the development of creative briefs and campaign messages.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and approvals on assets to ensure alignment with brand strategy and business goals.
  • Manage timelines, routing, and delivery expectations with agencies to keep work on track and on budget.
  • Own and govern the creative intake process for all agency requests, ensuring alignment with priorities.
  • Act as a senior brand steward ensuring consistent voice, tone, visual identity, and storytelling across all channels.
  • Oversee the execution of brand marketing campaigns, messaging frameworks, and brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to brand evolution initiatives, including updates to brand systems, tools, and governance.
  • Ensure creative quality for national and regional campaigns, sponsorships, events, media, collateral, and digital assets.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing, Field Marketing, Product, Customer Care, and Sales to support creative needs and brand education.
  • Guide stakeholders in brand consistency and usage standards across markets.
  • Oversee organic social strategy and brand storytelling, ensuring content is on-brand and supports marketing initiatives.
  • Align owned-channel content with paid campaigns to tell a cohesive brand story.
  • Support execution of brand campaigns through asset creation, routing, approvals, and agency collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team (Brand Ops Coordinator and Brand Content Social Coordinator).
  • Provide coaching, creative direction feedback, and clear performance expectations.
  • Build team processes that support creative scalability, organization, and speed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in brand, creative, or integrated marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of creative direction, messaging, branding systems, and agency collaboration.
  • Experience leading creative production (either on the brand, agency, or client side).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows, intake processes, or production queues.
  • Comfort directing design and copy, even without being a designer or copywriter.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional partners with clarity and confidence.
  • Ability to balance strategy, creativity, and operational rigor.
  • Telecom or multi-market experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong brand point of view.
  • Excellent communicator and persuasive storyteller.
  • Creative eye plus the ability to give constructive, clear feedback.
  • Process disciplined; able to build structure and tools.
  • Collaborative leadership mindset.
  • Comfortable presenting to leadership and key stakeholders.
