Description

Summary 

The Communications Coordinator - Construction will coordinate and implement delivery content for initiatives aimed to sell services, increase brand and market awareness and help drive revenue growth. The position is also responsible for assisting CSR’s in payment and equipment processing and customer service support for installation, service, sales and billing inquiries to customers at the walk-in support center.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating the production of marketing communications
  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as needed
  • Assisting with the collation of information for promotional literature
  • Manage social media platforms, as well as responding to comments and messages on social media platforms
  • Facilitate the management of all marketing channels (digital, email, traditional, text, social media, etc.)
  • Assisting with planning, preparing, and launching new target markets and grand openings
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns, go-to-market strategies, branding initiatives, product positioning, and related programs
  • Sell products and services to new and existing accounts
  • Consult with and provide tailored content for business units to support sales initiatives, including but not limited to marketing presentations
  • Greets customers and handles general billing and service inquiries
  • Stays current with all changes in CSR processing tasks and pricing changes
  • Communicates service offerings to customers and processes new installation orders, upgrades and change of service work orders into the company’s billing system.
  • Receives and processes payments and equipment from customers
  • Provides general service support and basic troubleshooting activities and schedules service calls in compliance with company policies.
  • Receives and processes field collections from contractors
  • Makes appropriate payment/equipment adjustments to billing database
  • Balances daily receipts and cash drawer
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or Advertising/Marketing (not essential but an advantage) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, explain, and market products and services
  • Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in online and offline channels (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Demonstrated leadership in content strategy, audience engagement, and impact.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple teams with professionalism and flexibility.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Personable, presentable and articulate.
  • Effective project management skills
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles to include inbound / content / social media marketing
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign or similar.
  • Savvy with all social media platforms, HubSpot, Salesforce, and/or similar online automation tools.
