Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Analyst II with deep skills in Power BI and a strong analytical mindset to support key business functions in the telecommunications domain. You will develop dynamic dashboards, deliver insights from large telecom datasets, and support teams in areas such as customer retention, network quality, and revenue optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations to support telecom use cases, including:
  • Customer churn analysis
  • ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) tracking
  • Network performance monitoring (e.g., dropped calls, latency)
  • Customer segmentation and usage patterns
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders across marketing, operations, and engineering
  • Create data models and implement DAX calculations to reflect complex business logic and KPIs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and validate data sources such as Call Detail Records (CDRs), CRM data, billing systems, and network logs.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and performance across reporting tools.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc analyses to answer key business questions.
  • Automate reports and build scalable BI solutions that reduce manual effort.
  • Deliver actionable insights through storytelling and clear data visualizations.
  • Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a business/data analyst or BI role—preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (data modeling, Power Query, DAX).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience querying large relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of telecom KPIs such as churn, ARPU, network performance metrics, and subscriber usage behavior.
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with telecom-specific data (e.g., CDRs, OSS/BSS systems, CRM platforms).
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), or SSAS.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
