Summary:

Point Broadband is seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Performance Marketing to lead our acquisition, retention, and loyalty marketing efforts. This leader will own paid media planning and execution across digital and offline channels, optimize campaigns through rigorous testing and insights, and drive programs that grow and retain our customer base. Partnering closely with brand, communications, field marketing, analytics, and sales, this role is central to delivering efficient, measurable customer growth for Point Broadband.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Own Acquisition Strategy & Execution – Lead planning, buying, and optimization of paid media campaigns (digital, social, search, programmatic, direct mail, etc.) to acquire new customers.
  • Drive Campaign Optimization – Implement A/B testing, creative and audience experiments, and continuous performance improvements across channels to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Manage Retention & Loyalty Programs – Oversee lifecycle communications, loyalty offers, and retention campaigns to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Leverage Audience Insights – Use demographic, behavioral, and market data to segment audiences, refine targeting, and personalize acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting – Partner with marketing analytics and operations to measure effectiveness of campaigns, monitor cost per gross add, conversion rates, and ROAS, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with Brand & Communications, Field Marketing, and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and integrated go-to-market execution.
  • Team Leadership – Manage and develop two direct reports (Performance Marketing Manager, Lifecycle & Retention Manager), fostering a culture of testing, accountability, and growth.
  • Vendor & Agency Management – Oversee relationships with media agencies, platforms, and technology partners to ensure performance and innovation.
  • Market Benchmarking – Monitor fiber broadband and telecom competitor activity to ensure Point Broadband maintains a competitive edge in acquisition and retention strategy.

  • Performance-Driven Marketer – Proven track record in driving measurable growth through acquisition and retention campaigns with strong ROAS discipline.
  • Analytical & Insight-Led – Skilled at translating customer and media data into actionable strategies and optimizations.
  • Collaborative Leader – Comfortable operating cross-functionally, aligning marketing, sales, and operations teams toward shared growth goals.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset – Balances efficiency with brand experience, ensuring campaigns resonate and build long-term loyalty.
  • Experience: 10–12+ years (with at least 5 in leadership roles managing acquisition/retention teams and budgets).
